• 6/29/17 — Enbridge withdraws project from FERC docket
• 6/27/17 — The Acushnet Board of Selectmen requested that FERC close the Access Northeast application. » See filing on FERC docket
• 11/2/16 — Argus media reports Access Northeast gas pipeline delayed to 2019. Spectra looks for LDC contracts for project while considering legislative options for making pipeline tax for EDC contracts legal in MA, especially considering the fact that governors in the region remain supportive of the project. Executives expect to make an announcement either later this year or early in 2017 on what contracts it has negotiated for the project, and Spectra is still likely to continue seeing environmental approval of the project as planned.

• 8/22/16 — National Grid files Motion to Withdraw MA DPU Application #16-05 that would have sought capacity on Access Northeast.

• 8/17/16 — “Pipeline tax” on electric bills that would have funded electric generator investment in capacity on gas pipelines declared illegal by Mass. Supreme Judicial Court.
