Thoreau Cabin Pipeline Barricade standing its ground at Otis State Forest, in our Commonwealth of Massachusetts,  to stop the Connecticut Expansion Pipeline proposed by Kinder Morgan and Tennessee Gas Company; also to assert our resolve to stop the terrible hydro-fracking industry and corporate greed, and to object to the disregard for Article 97 of the Massachusetts State Constitution.

May 6, 2017, report from BE(Video) Day two of action at the Otis State Forest in Sandisfield, MA – we have successfully stopped tree cutting for the #CTExpansionPipeline for the last hour or so. #SugarShackAlliance #WhyIProtect
Further report from KD
6 more arrests today. Many trees down, but 2 dozen still standing where the easement crosses Sue Baxter’s property. Because for days now, she has planted herself on her own damn property less than 100 feet away, where the clear-cutting feller fellows have to stop work and move elsewhere. Today 40 members of the Sugar Shack Alliance sat with her, and six of them dared to walk down the easement to follow the fellers, disrupting work and causing delays.
